What is gross living area and how is it measured?
Gross living area (GLA) is the finished, heated, above-grade living space, measured from the exterior. Basements, garages and unheated porches are reported separately. Many homes in western Kentucky have additions that were never recorded, so PVA square footage can differ from a measured GLA.
